Trusts and Foundations Fundraising Manager

TPP's Fundraising and Development team are supporting a fantastic national social mobility charity with the search for a Trusts and Foundations Fundraising Manager. This new role, reporting to the CEO and working closely with the Chairman and Management Team, has responsibility for the charity's income generation and is therefore pivotal to the growth and success of the organisation. This is a home-based role, remotely managing a small team of staff, and will require semi-regular travel to London.
The charity has a good track record of working with Trusts and Foundations, and has ambitions to expand its work further across the UK. Consequently, they are looking for a Trusts and Foundations specialist to join the team and develop an income generation strategy that maximises income from a diverse range of trusts, foundations, statutory funders and other funding bodies. You will have responsibility for managing the existing pipeline, researching future funding opportunities, submitting applications and producing written grant proposals.
In order to be considered for this role you will be able to demonstrate a proven track record of successful fundraising in this area, along with excellent research, written and oral communication skills. You will combine a hands-on approach with your expert knowledge, and have a talent for identifying new business opportunities. You will be self-motivated, collaborative and possess a "can-do" attitude. An interest in social mobility, youth social action and youth under employment will be highly advantageous.
