Senior Programme Funding Officer
Robertson Bell Fundraising have an excellent opportunity for an experienced candidate to join our London based charity client and lead on maximising income growth through major trusts, foundations and government sources to support the charities international & UK work.
You will work with staff across the charity to identify new opportunities for funding, driving new approaches to large strategically important funders and partnerships. You will manage funder relationships and oversee reporting requirements for key statutory, trust and lottery grants, monitoring progress and highlighting any issues of concern. You will also review funders contracts and T&C's attached to grant offers and partner INGO/NGO contracts & agreements. You will also advise finance on the assignment of new restricted funds. Work with project delivery teams to minimise over/under spends and ensure all issues concerning the success of funded projects are addressed as appropriate.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
Significant DIRECT experience of achieving six/seven figure multi-year grants from sources such as DFID, EU Lottery and other major international and bi-lateral funders.
Proven track record of generating grant or contract income for new and existing international and UK work.
Excellent project management and time management skills.
Highly developed negotiating and influencing skills. experience in taking the lead in complex bid development and in assessment meetings with funders.
Have a creative flexible, innovative and strategic approach.
