As three independent grant-making charities, the Francis C Scott Charitable Trust, The Sir James & Lady Scott Trust and the Frieda Scott Charitable Trust are dedicated to building stronger communities and improving the life chances of individuals and communities in Cumbria, North Lancashire and Bolton. Led by a single Director who oversees the work of all three Trusts, we primarily fund small to medium-sized organisations with a range of grants. The largest of the three Trusts, the Francis C Scott Charitable Trust, focusses on disadvantaged children and young people from the most deprived communities in our region.
