Building on the remarkable legacy of the Dartington Social Research Unit, the Dartington Service Design Lab was launched in July 2017: a 21st century organisation ready to challenge and inspire radical reform of systems and services to improve the lives of children, families and communities.
Our work focuses on three broad areas: system reform, service design and information design.
We are now looking to strengthen membership of our existing Board with at least three exceptional individuals to help steer the new incarnation of the charity in its new direction.
We are particularly interested in hearing from people with knowledge or expertise in at least one of the following areas: research, especially in the areas of child development and public policy; public systems and local government; the NHS, Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs) and health systems; innovation in public policy; financial literacy in a charity context; and digital technology with regard to ways of working and as tools for research.
