Our client is a Bristol based charity providing residential, nursing and supported living services to people with learning difficulties, mental health needs and older people, some of whom are living with dementia.  This is an exciting time to join their organisation, as they formulate their next three year strategy.

Director of Finance
Based: Staple Hill, Bristol

Salary: Circa £63,000 per annum

37 hours per week

As Director of Finance you will be integral to strategic development; helping the organisation to achieve its objectives in an increasingly challenging financial climate.  Your advice will be key to future strategic decision making.

Our client has an excellent reputation for providing high quality care, based on their organisational values, and as part of the Senior Management Team you will find creative ways for them to live its values within a commercial approach.

You will line manage the Finance and IT Departments, ensuring that robust practices and procedures are maintained, and adapted to meet changing business needs.  Your professional background and extensive experience of working at a senior level will provide you with the skills to clearly present complex information to the Board and to colleagues, and to influence and negotiate across a wide range of stakeholders, including external partners and commissioners.
