Alive! is a thriving Bristol-based charity which has grown rapidly to become one of the UK’s leading practitioners of meaningful engagement for older people in care homes. Our aim is to transform the residential care sector, so that older people’s mental, social and emotional wellbeing is prioritised alongside their physical care. We do this by providing a wide range of high quality activity sessions in care settings, delivering training and support for social care staff, and advocating for improved quality of life for older people in care.
As Alive! embarks on a new three-year strategy, we are seeking a talented fundraiser and people manager to take charge of our investment in fundraising. Our appealing case for support means we have already secured a number of multi-year grants. You will have a successful track record in one or more of the following disciplines: trust and foundations, major donors, individual giving, companies or legacies. Keen to take on a wider fundraising remit, you will be adept at producing inspirational funding materials to generate income. You will be a strategic thinker and strong budget manager capable of assessing a range of fundraising opportunities, then putting your plans into action.
