My client, a dynamic youth-focused Not-for-Profit organisation based in London, is currently looking for a Press Officer on a permanent basis. Reporting into the Corporate Communications & PR Manager the postholder will work in the newly formed press office working on a wide range of proactive and reactive communications tasks.

The business is growing rapidly and it's a really exciting time to be joining. As a relatively new organisation they have retained a fast paced start-up feel that nurtures creativity and there are huge opportunities for people to make a real difference.

Working in the wider PR team the postholder will assist in developing creative PR plans, drafting copy, writing press releases and developing engaging content and reactive statements.

Ideal candidate will display:

  • Previous experience working as part of a fast paced press office
  • Knowledge of a wide range of national, regional and online media
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Experience in managing PR at events

Ideally they are looking for someone with experience working for a Not-for-Profit business but this is not necessarily essential. If you are interested in discussing the role in more detail please apply with an up to date CV.

Unfortunately due to the high number of applications we receive we will not be able to come back to all unsuccessful candidates so if we have not come back to you 1-2 weeks after you application unsuccessful. This is a fast moving role so please get in touch ASAP if you are interested.
