About the role
We have a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic individual with excellent organisation and planning skills to join our organisation as a Resource Planner. Reporting to the Resource Planning Manager, the post holder will be responsible for the schedule management of all courses and venues within a geographical area of the UK. The Resource Planner will also manage the planning and allocation of training resources, focusing on maximising trainer utilisation and minimising associated costs. The course schedule is a core element of our business, and the post holder will play an essential role in ensuring that the British Red Cross maintains it's reputation for delivering excellence in the provision of first aid at work courses.

With 180 training venues across the UK we're always on your doorstep and are also flexible to provide training at your premises where required.
About the person
The successful candidate will have excellent organisational skills, and will be competent in planning and managing projects and activities. You will be a strong IT user, with experience of using Microsoft Office packages, particularly Excel. We are particularly keen on hearing from candidates who have the ability to prioritise a range of competing demands and who are skills in decision making and problem solving.
