Chief Executive (P/T 0.5 FTE)
Care Of Police Survivors (COPS) is a national charity whose purpose is to support the families of police officers and police staff who have lost their lives in relation to police duty. For more than 14 years, the charity has provided emotional and practical support to bereaved families, focusing on peer support, to help them rebuild their lives following the death of their police officer.
The charity is at an exciting point in its development and is recruiting a new Chief Executive to lead an effective and passionate charity. You will be an experienced senior Finance and Resources specialist who is able to lead across the charity whilst developing the finance and resources function of the charity. You will be naturally innovative and systematic in strategic planning and execution to ensure the charity continues to develop and achieve best organisational outcomes.
You will be well organised with high attention to detail and be able to lead others to achieve the same standards. You will also be a confident, empathetic communicator, able to act as an ambassador for the charity.
