The British Heart Foundation (BHF) is the nation's heart charity, fighting to keep the nation's heart beating with information, patient care and pioneering research into Coronary Heart Disease, the nation's single biggest killer.

About the role

The BHF policy and public affairs (PPA) team are looking for a graduate-level, proactive individual to support the charity's influencing, policy and public affairs work. The policy and public affairs coordinator will provide administrative support to the PPA team, such as preparing presentations, organising meetings & arranging travel when required.

As 'digital champion' for the team you will work with the digital team to ensure the content on the policy and web pages are kept up to date.

About you

This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic person interested in or with existing experience of policy and influencing work in the third sector as you'll be given development opportunities to gain experience in policy and public affairs work.

Providing key administrative support to the Policy and Advocacy teams, you will be a great team player and have excellent organisation and administration skills. Knowledge of MS Office and strong attention to detail is essential.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about our fight for every heartbeat and enthusiastic about working within Policy and Advocacy.
