Communications and Marketing Manager
Our client, a leading London university, is looking to recruit a Communications and Marketing Manager on a full time, temporary basis, to lead on the production, delivery and evaluation of the Centre's communication strategies and platforms across all areas of activity.
The role will specialise in developing, delivering and reviewing the Centre's internal and external communications strategy and its contingent elements. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, a combination of the following: designing and producing online and print promotional materials, revising the project website, maintaining an effective social media presence, and keeping abreast of institutional activities for dissemination to all relevant stakeholders across all media platforms and events.Â The post holder will be responsible for organising and supporting the Centre's annual meeting.
In order to be considered for this role you will hold an undergraduate qualification in a communications or marketing discipline, or equivalent professional experience. It is essential that you possess up-to-date knowledge of social media channels as well as extensive experience of writing, editing and sub-editing. You will have a thorough understanding of websites as well as experience of producing a variety of communication materials. Computer literacy, including competency in word processing, desktop publishing and image manipulation as well as knowledge of the higher education sector is essential to this role.
