Our client is the leading provider of end of life services in Somerset. Their track record of investing in high quality and caring support means they are one of the UK’s largest Hospices.

They deliver care for over 3,200 people each year who face a life limiting illness. Only 25% of their costs are supported by the NHS. The rest is provided by charitable income through their fundraising, their shops and from donations. Their pioneering services depend upon the best people who can innovate and provide the best care possible for patients and their families.

Head of Corporate, Community and Events Fundraising
Location: Taunton, Somerset
Hours: 37 per week
Salary: £36,908 per annum

In this exciting position you will lead, manage, support and develop the organisation's enthusiastic and committed community, events and corporate team helping them to deliver strategic plans and meet targets. They are looking for someone who can motivate, inspire and manage people, grow and deliver income and maximise opportunities for raising awareness to support income streams. This dynamic role, will require the successful candidate to build strong relationships both internal and external, understand the importance of donor and supporter care, create strong marketing plans, travel across Somerset and work at pace.

They have ambitious plans to reach more people who need specialist care by significantly increasing their charitable income in the next 5 years and this role is key to their success. If you are a self-starter, have the ability to produce and deliver results, have excellent communication skills both written and verbal and a passion for helping others, then this is the role for you.
