Job Retention Worker - Mental Health
Prospectus is pleased to be working with a mental health charity who provides support resources to people with mental health problems that makes social inclusion and participation in everyday life a reality. Having acquired funding for a specialist Employability service, the charity is currently going through an exciting period of change, and are therefore looking to recruit a Job Retention Worker to support the service.
Our client provides an employability service that supports people with sever and common mental health problems to achieve paid, competitive employment in a fulfilling, sustainable way by deploying the evidence based Individual Placement and Support (IPS) model. As their specialist Job Retention Worker, you will work closely with a team of Employment Caseworker to provide expert job retention support to people with mental health problems in Camden; particularly to those who are struggling to sustain employment. Providing a full in-work support service, you will work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders including health professional, employers and mental health organisations to ensure clients have the maximum support available to them through their journey to sustainable employment.
To be successful, you will have significant knowledge and experience of developing and supporting people into mainstream employment through providing an in depth, person centred employability service. In addition, you will also possess the ability to work effectively with people with mental health problems along with experience of multi-agency liaison including support professionals and employer engagement. Finally, knowledge and/or experience of the IPS model is ideal as is an NVQ Level 2/3 in advice and guidance.
