About the role

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Gift Aid and Reports Co-ordinator to join the British Red Cross Retail team at our Commercial Development office in Plymouth. Our organisation generates essential income via reclaimed Gift Aid tax, and the post-holder will play an important role in ensuring that Gift Aid claims are organised efficiently and accurately, in line with HMRC regulations.

The post-holder will also maintain, review and develop a suit of financial and management reports for retail teams, which will enable them to make informed business decisions and meet agreed targets and objectives.

About the team
The Retail Department, which forms part of the Fundraising Division, operates around 330 Red Cross charity shops throughout the UK and has a complement of over 6,500 volunteers and 700 paid staff and a turnover circa GBP 30m per annum. The Commercial Development department is responsible for developing EPoS systems, which encompasses Gift Aid and the Red Cross Loyalty Card, and supports retail field staff with management information, as well as equipment for the new shops and the supply of corporate donations and warehousing.
