Legacy Administration Officer
An exciting opportunity for a Legacy Administration Officer has arisen at World Cancer Research Fund (WCRF UK).
WCRF UK champions the latest and most authoritative scientific research from around the world on cancer prevention and survival through diet, weight and physical activity, so that we can empower people to make informed lifestyle choices to reduce their cancer risk.
We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Legacy Administration Officer with excellent legacy administration expertise to join our Fundraising team on a part time (22.5 hours a week) basis.
Working closely with the Legacy Development Manager, you will make the most of potential legacy income through good file management, building strong relationships with professional contacts to enhance the charity’s reputation and encourage future legacies.
You will play a pivotal role in administering this vital source of income for the charity and ultimately contribute to World Cancer Research Fund’s goal of preventing and surviving cancer.
The successful candidate will be someone who is fully competent in probate, trust and tax law and with substantial experience of working in a similar legacy administration role, managing a range of pecuniary and residuary caseloads.
Excellent legacy administration skills are vital, as is the ability to communicate effectively with people from different backgrounds and across different departments. In addition, you will possess strong organisational skills and have a proactive, enthusiastic and flexible approach to work.
