About the role
We are currently seeking an enthusiastic individual with excellent project management and communication skills to join our Business Intelligence team. As an assistant manager in an exciting and thriving BI team, you will support the strategic needs of the Fundraising Division by managing multiple projects and delivering high quality business analysis.

The main focus for the post holder in the short term will be in relation to the replacement CRM programme. The post holder will be heavily involved in supporting the gathering of requirements, the interpretation of these into a technical brief and the prioritisation of these to describe the necessary functionality of the new product.


About the team

The fundraising department is targeted to raise just shy of GBP 150m in 2017 and the BI team is made up of 17 staff, all working from the UK office in London.

The BI team's success relies upon having a strong understanding of the Fundraising teams' activities and what they are trying to achieve, how data will be recorded on our Fundraising database and what data from this is brought into our Data Warehouse. As such, this role will be pivotal in delivering business analysis, capturing stakeholders' requirements and project managing developments from conception through to delivery.


About the person
Previous experience of individual giving fundraising, direct marketing or working within the charity sector is highly advantageous.

The successful candidate will demonstrate strong interpersonal and communications skills and have experience of working to tight deadlines with potentially changing priorities. At the Red Cross we are looking for someone who is pro-active and with a strong track record in project delivery.
