Prospectus is delighted to be working with FOUR PAWS, the international animal welfare charity. FOUR PAWS works to create a world where humans treat animals with respect, empathy and understanding, through a global approach and a breadth of impactful programmes and campaigns. The charity works from grass-root to government level, from treating stray dogs and cats to rescuing animals from conflict zones. FOUR PAWS UK is now looking to appoint a new Head of Fundraising to play a crucial role in diversifying existing income and taking up innovative new income opportunities.
The Head of Fundraising will review FOUR PAWS UK's future opportunities for growth and innovation, particularly from regular giving and digital income but also from additional streams such as major donors and legacies. Working closely with a committed team of four staff, the Head of Fundraising will develop strategies for individual giving, including acquisition and retention, new product development across a breadth of channels and digital attraction using best practice approaches. He or she will also lead on identifying and testing other income streams and opportunities, working closely with Communications, Finance and Programmes peers, as well as with the Board and Country Director and global fundraising colleagues.
The successful candidate will be an ambitious fundraiser with significant experience of managing individual giving campaigns, including direct marketing, digital and DRTV and who is looking to move into a strategic role and gain additional income experience. You will have a track record of using creative approaches to increase donor acquisition and retention and have experience of working on diverse programmes. A committed team player, you will be a visionary leader and ambitious to expand income.
