Position: Dementia Support Worker 
Location: Cambridge (role covers greater Cambridge) 
Contract type: Permanent 
Hours: 25 per week 
Salary: £14,275 per annum (actual)

About the role: 

Our team of support workers offers information and practical guidance to help people understand dementia, cope with day-to-day challenges and prepare for the future. They offer support face to face, over the phone or in writing. 

About you: 

We are looking for an individual who possess NVQ level 3 (or equivalent) with an understanding of dementia and the needs of those living with dementia and their carer. Your ability to assess client needs, along with the understanding of the need for client confidentially is essential to providing a valuable and worthwhile service. To be successful in this role you will have excellent non-judgmental communication skills as well as strong organisational and time management skills in order to manage your caseload of clients effectively.
