Detailed Job Description
Reporting into the new Head of School, the Director of Student Recruitment and Admissions will provide broad strategic leadership for the student recruitment activity and management of the robust admissions function. This is a key management role within the organisation and you will be fully responsible for recruitment, admissions, financial aid, information management, re-enrolment and the retention functions of the school.
Serving on the School's Leadership Team, working closely with division heads and the Office of Institutional Advancement, the Director of Student Recruitment and Admissions will lead and manage the school's admissions team and budget, and serves as the point person for all strategic areas of the enrolment management functions. The Director will play a key role in articulating the strategic philosophy for enrolment management and financial aid, and inspires all school constituencies to actively participate in student recruitment and retention.
People management is critical in this role and you will need to lead, manage and motivate our team of international officers and managers based locally and overseas to reach their full potential.
This position requires travel to key market areas, as part of the School's commitment to attracting an internationally diverse student population.
- Significant experience of working in international student recruitment markets (either within Schools, FE or HE)
- Significant experience of managing an admissions department, with a demonstrable track record of developing and progressing teams
- Proven experience of leading a significant change management process
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with both internal and external stakeholders
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to use data and insight to identify opportunities and drive decision making
- A passion for driving the aspirations of young learners within a collaborative and supportive environment
