About the role

We are looking to recruit a Senior Digital Marketing Executive to deliver the British Heart Foundations (BHF) Events digital marketing and web content activity; from small country runs to our flagship London to Brighton Bike Ride, our Events team has a big portfolio to market.

Working closely with the Events team you will deliver activity across PPC, search engines, social networks, the BHF website and other online channels ensuring user's needs are your primary focus. As well as driving quality traffic, you will be responsible for the ongoing user experience on the website.

About you

The successful candidate will have a user-focussed, data driven approach; testing, learning and optimising at every opportunity, reviewing analytics and liaising with the insight team to improve and monitor engagement. You will be responsible for ensuring the fundraising web content is vibrant and engaging and the traffic driven there is relevant. As well as driving quality traffic, this role will be responsible for the ongoing user experience on the website.

You will have relevant experience working in a similar role across a family of websites in a corporate setting as well as a solid knowledge and understanding of the principles of digital marketing.

With knowledge of SEO and experience of optimising content for organic search you will have a real passion for digital and fundraising. You'll have excellent organisational and time management skills, ensuring key deadlines are met, whilst also having excellent communication skills, working closely with colleagues in digital and fundraising and ensuring they are kept up to date with work you are undertaking.
