Role:                                      Permanent after probation period (6 months)




Key purposes of the post:

To deliver a range of projects within the locale of Lesmahagow and obtain necessary grants to assist in this work.

Main duties:

Assess the feasibility of suggested projects

Develop a strategy for delivering the projects

Obtain funding to assist with the projects

Deliver agreed projects

Work in partnership with relevant organisations to assist in the delivery of the projects

To network and represent LDT in order to maximise the benefits to the community of Lesmahagow.

Assess the requirements of the community on a regular basis

Main Administration tasks:

Complete relevant administrative tasks

Provide regular monitoring and management information as required by the Trustees

Contribute to the publication of material for trust members and the wider community.

General requirements

Keep up to date with current happenings within the third sector through journals and personal training. To a level expected of a professional within a similar role.

Attend regular board meetings and provide updates to the Board of Trustees

Comply with organisation procedures and polices

Undertake any other duties agreed with the board

Maintain the confidentiality of the role

Overtime requires to be agreed in advance and will be paid at basic rate.

Monthly trust meetings are held on the second Monday of the month at 7pm
Due to the location a car and driving licence will be essential
