Position: Care and Community Services Manager 
Location: Hitchin, Hertfordshire with some remote working 
Contract Type: Full Time, Permanent 
Hours: 37.5 hours per week with occasional weekend working and being part of the on-call rota 
Salary: £23-30K per annum

About the Role: 

The Care and Community Services Manager will enable unpaid family carers and other people with care needs to have their health, wellbeing and social care support needs met through relevant holistic services. You will lead the company in the responsible area so that carers & people with care needs receive a timely, efficient, caring and quality service. 

You will be responsible for positive leadership of a team to provide flexible, responsive services to Carers and people with care needs and will ensure consistent quality across care & support services; both compliance with standards and always reaching and innovating for improvement.

About You: 

The successful candidate will have experience in delivering regulated personal homecare and respite services. You will have relevant qualifications such as QCF/NVQ Health and Social Care Diploma Level 3/ILM, Medication and Moving and Positioning or a willingness and ability to undertake training. 

Additionally you will possess a good working knowledge of the funding, service models and eligibility arrangements in the social care environment. You will have experience of leading a successful team with the ability to not only develop excellent working relationships with staff and volunteers but also with those who have care needs. 

You may have experience of the following: Service Manager, Care Manager, Senior Care Coordinator, Service Delivery, Area Manager, Healthcare, Social Worker, Community Care, Senior Support Worker, Team Leader, Charity, Charities, Third Sector, NFP, Not for Profit etc.
