A leading children's charity in Manchester.
Working in a small, but dynamic communications team, the Communications Officer will draft, edit, proofread and coordinate communications targeted at the general public, policy makers and internal stakeholders.
You will also develop and contribute to the charity's online presence and lead on big projects such as the intranet. The post would ideally suit someone with a mix of communication skills from a charity or not-for-profit communications background, with a proven track record.
The ideal Communications Officer will have:
- Communications experience in the not for profit and charities sector (ideally, but not exclusively)
- Passion for comms
- Happy to take on projects and take ownership of them
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent written skills
