Trusts and Foundations Fundraiser

  • Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire
  • £23,000 - £27,000
  • Pace, providing programmes for children with physical disabilities.

Working in a small successful trust fundraising team, you will be responsible for helping to grow trust fundraising income.

Pace is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, compassionate and positive Trusts and Foundations Fundraiser to join our small but successful fundraising department. The post holder will work closely with the Trusts and Philanthropy Manager to manage and build relationships with a growing and diverse portfolio of charitable Trusts and Foundations to secure new and enhanced support for income.  Fundraising from Charitable Trusts and Foundations is an essential part of Pace’s income generation and the charity has developed good relationships with a number of strong supporters over the past twenty five years.

Pace is a ground-breaking children’s charity that transforms the lives of children and young people with motor disorders, such as cerebral palsy. Fundamental to our approach is a belief in every child’s ability to learn and make progress, whatever the physical or sensory challenges they face. Our overriding goal is to help children and young people with physical disabilities to achieve their full potential and to be as independent as possible in their current and future lives.

You will have experience of building lasting relationships and presenting impactful and persuasive grant and giving opportunities. Your skills will enhance Pace’s ability to offer highly valued supporters a first-class donor experience as well as maximising income to sustain and develop our services.

You will work onsite and have regular opportunities to meet the children and young people at Pace and their families. The wider Pace community are supportive and collaborative and you will be working across the clinical, educational and strategic arms of the charity. The range of applications you will be making will be diverse and as such this is great opportunity to expand your knowledge base and experience.

If you have a proven track record of successful trust and grant applications, are empathetic and understand the value of excellent stewardship and are committed to improving the lives of children and young people with physical disabilities, then we would be delighted to hear from you.
