The British Heart Foundation (BHF) is the nation's heart charity with a mission to lead the fight for every heartbeat through pioneering cardiovascular research. We fund thousands of scientists carrying out more than half the UK's cardiovascular research and our work has been central to the discoveries of vital treatments that are helping to change the face of the UK's fight against heart disease.

Role summary

Fundraising registrations form a key component of BHF's Community Fundraising (CFR) strategy and we have ambitious plans to grow income in this area to 2020. You will work alongside the team responsible for managing existing products and activities including, Raise Funds Your Way (BHF's DIY fundraising product), Heart Flyers (parachuting), Gift of Hope, Celebrations and CFR's engagement with Wear It Beat It.

You will work with the Registrations Programme Manager and Registrations Executives to develop and manage our fundraising products to maximise and enhance acquisition, supporter journey and stewardship. You will also identify, test and implement opportunities to develop new products and activities to engage community fundraising supporters and groups in fundraising for the BHF.

About you

The successful candidate will have project support experience, specifically within the context of fundraising campaigns and/or fundraising events as well as experience of working with fundraising groups and/or volunteers. You will have strong organisational and communication skills, working with fundraising groups and volunteers on events for the BHF.

This is a brilliant opportunity to join our fantastic team looking to continue our recent track record of fantastic growth. We're looking for people who are as ambitious as we are as well as being experts in their fields to help our vision become a reality. We're brave, informed, driven and compassionate in our fight against heart disease and, if that sounds like you, we'd love to hear from you.
