Events Officer - Sports & Adventure
ABOUT THE ROLE
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a lively, dynamic and driven fundraising Events Team. Over the last decade, Breast Cancer Care has built up a strong events function, with events currently accounting for a third of the charity’s overall voluntary income.
We are now looking for an experienced Events Officer to help deliver our Sports and Adventure Events portfolio – currently comprising of running events, triathlons, cycling events, overseas and UK challenges. The post holder will work across these events, maximising participant numbers and income.
We are looking for someone experienced in delivering charity fundraising events who is able to lead on marketing campaigns, develop supporter engagement plans and bring experience of building relationships with third party event organisers and tour operators.
You will have outstanding organisational, communication and marketing skills as well as being a key team player and able to deal with conflicting demands and meet tight deadlines.
The post holder will also have line management responsibility for one Events Assistant.
