Interim HR Business Partner

Our client, an inspiring and important charity, has an ambitious plan to transform the way they help young cancer patients over the next 10 years. Reporting to the Assistant Director of HR and People Change, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing proactiveÂ professional HR support, inspiring, coaching and supporting managers to realise the best potential from their people. You will be involved in supporting key processes, such as recruitment and retention, employee relations, performance management and payroll. In the absence of the HR Manager, you will take on supervisory responsibility for part of the team managing HR Advisers, Officers and Coordinators. You will lead on the overall spectrum of employee relations managing complex employment relations issues such as disciplinaries, grievances and sickness absence.
To be considered for this role it is essential to have proven experience within HR, having managed complex HR issues and employee relations. You are required to have previous line management experience and knowledge of coaching, training and advising managers within an HR environment. Experience of using HR databases including reporting of management information, as well as HR operations and payroll will be essential. You must be a strong and effective communicator with the ability to plan and deliver projects to timeframes. Educated to degree level or equivalent is desirable and you are required to be fully CIPD qualified or equivalent experience.
