Corporate Partnerships Officer
The Sick Children’s Trust, founded in 1982 by paediatric specialists Dr Jon Pritchard and Professor James Malpos, believes in keeping families together when a child has a serious illness. They currently operate ten ‘Home from Home’ houses, providing accommodation to families, and provide emotional and practical support. Prospectus is proud to be working with them to recruit a Corporate Partnerships Officer to join a warm and friendly team.
This is an important role, working in close collaboration with the Corporate Partnerships Manager to deliver excellent account management to current partnerships, including two large Charity of the Year accounts. You will act as a key point of contact for incoming corporate partnership enquiries, and for the corporate volunteer programme, and will undertake research for prospective new corporate partners. In addition, you will provide administrative support, ensuring fundraising materials are sent out when required, and the database is kept up-to-date. You will be joining a small and dedicated team, and so there will be the opportunity to work with other fundraising teams.
The Sick Children’s Trust is looking for someone with some charity experience, but this doesn’t necessarily have to be within the corporate fundraising sphere. You will be able to manage your workload effectively, prioritise and react quickly to new challenges. The ability to work proactively and in collaboration with others will be important; being able to ‘pitch in’ and support when necessary. Your communication skills will be excellent, and you will enjoy building and maintaining relationships with a variety of internal and external stakeholders. Experience of using a charity database and undertaking research would be advantageous, but is not essential.
