Girlguiding is looking for an experienced and proactive Project Manager to be responsible for the development and launch of a range of learning & development resources that will enable volunteers to deliver the new Girlguiding Programme for our members.

Based in London but with opportunities for flexible or remote working, the Project Manager for Volunteer Development will focus on ensuring that our volunteers are able to acquire the necessary knowledge and skills to deliver the new programme confidently and effectively.

The successful candidate will work with our team of Learning & Development volunteers to develop quality learning resources in order to encourage volunteer learning through different mediums; from training toolkits to digital learning assets, to support volunteers in various roles to understand the changes taking place and their responsibilities within this.

You will have excellent stakeholder engagement skills and will work in partnership with the Specialist Volunteer Team, the Volunteer Development Team, the Communications Team and the Programmes Team order to ensure that the deliverables of this project are achieved and that the quality of the content being developed is maintained.

Working closely with these stakeholders, you will use your good communication skills to build effective working relationships and your excellent Project Management skills to ensure the successful delivery of this project to the necessary time frames.

Applicants will need to demonstrate effective planning, monitoring, reporting and evaluation skills along with the ability to manage a budget, set deadlines, identify potential project risks and the capability to offer and implement solutions.

The successful candidate will also bring with them a good working knowledge of what makes exciting, fun, and inspirational learning activities and experience of working within a large organisation.
