The Brazelton Centre UK is a leading national charity promoting infant mental health by training health professionals and researchers in the Neonatal Behavioural Assessment Scale (NBAS) and Newborn Behavioural Observations System (NBO) methods, the primary goals of which are to promote an understanding of baby behaviour and development and to foster strong infant-parent relationships.
As we celebrate our 20th anniversary, we are now looking for our next Chief Executive to help shape and implement our vision for the future.
CEO - BRAZELTON CENTRE UK
Location: Cambridge (with regular UK and some international travel)
Salary range: £39,324 to £45,562 pro rata
Contract: Permanent part time role
Hours: 60 percent WTE, 3 days per week and occasional evenings
The successful candidate will require solid experience of operational and strategic leadership in the not for profit sector. With a proven track record of service delivery and effective people and resource management, you will need to demonstrate the commitment and vision to develop and promote our services, in particular, our unique accredited training programme to health professionals throughout the UK.
Working effectively with the Board of Trustees, you will require a good understanding of financial and marketing management with experience in developing and diversifying income streams.

We have grown from a small charity in 1997 to one with nationwide and international presence, influencing public policy and practice and collaborating with high profile partner organisations that share the same passion to give every mother, father and newborn the best start in family life.
Closing date: 11th September 2017
We anticipate that first stage interviews will be held on Wednesday 27th September and a second round of interviews on Tuesday 3rd October. Both interviews will take place in London.
