About the role
We are looking for a Senior Infrastructure and Compliance Specialist to join our privacy and compliance programme at the British Heart Foundation (BHF). You will be a key technical person enabling the improvement of privacy across the BHF and will work closely with the Infrastructure and Architecture team to ensure that our privacy position is controlled, well documented and understood by relevant parties.
You’ll work specifically on security and privacy related projects and will support the organisation to ensure ongoing technical compliance, playing a key role in the rollout of various security technologies and ensure architectural consistency in line with existing support structures.
The successful candidate will have a strong technical networking and security background, proficient in documenting network architecture. You'll have experience of providing detailed data workflows from multiple, diverse systems that have a combination of automation and manual activities.
With extensive experience in an Infrastructure background you will be able to communicate effectively to all levels of the business. You'll have excellent analytical and problem solving skills, with the ablity to identify and fix issues as they arise.
With previous experience working in retail operation or software development you will be a team player, able to encourage others and taking a lead where necessary. You'll ensure the BHF adhere to the highest professional standards.
We need a proactive, people person, who has experience in a geographically diverse organisation in a Head Office function with a flexible and realistic approach to all aspects of security.
