A nationwide organisation, they support over 2,500 people through innovative, person-centred services with a strong focus on promoting independence.

Position: Senior Support Worker
Location: Ingol, Lancashire
Contract: Permanent
Hours: Full-time
Salary: £17,262 rising to £17,700 following successful completion of probation and £18,300 based on qualifications held.

20 days holiday rising to 25 days after the first year, plus eight customary days, and a contributory pension scheme.

About the role:

A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Support Worker to join their new service based in Lancashire. This service focuses on supporting an individual in her own home for the very first time. They believe in the principle of ‘every moment has potential’ and incorporate this in the provision of all their services. Their support staff are at the forefront of this and on a day to day basis you will ensure that Support Worker colleagues deliver the highest standard of care.

About you:

As a Senior Support Worker, you will be a role model to Support Workers to deliver great support and assist the Registered Cluster Manager to monitor, report and maintain agreed standards.

As they provide 24/7 support you need to be able to work shifts, working varied flexible hours including evenings and weekends.

Our client is committed to the Investors in People process and have excellent training programmes (with Skills for Care Accreditation). You will be given a comprehensive induction and development programme with support from your local manager and a Learning and Development Specialist.
