Our client is a national charity dedicated to providing high-quality, personalised support to adults with learning disabilities. 

Position: Bank Support Worker 
Location: Kempston, Bedfordshire 
Contract type: Bank Hours 
Salary: £7.62 per hour 

About the Role: 

They are currently recruiting for Bank support workers for the Kempston area. The role requires support for individuals who have learning disabilities. 

As a bank support worker you will play a key role in enabling the people they support to carry out all of the daily living tasks involved in everyday life. That could be helping someone to live independently within their own home. 

Can you share your interests and skills with the people you support? Do you want to have the flexibility to work a range of flexible shifts to suit? 

If the answer to these questions is yes, then they want to hear from you. Don’t worry if you don’t have experience as they will provide you with all the training and support you need in order to be successful in this role. 

About You: 

You will need to be positive and committed to supporting people and improving people’s lives. It is hard work but amazingly rewarding and to reach your full potential in this role you need to have the right values in working with people and being part of a team. 

Good communication, having a flexible approach, being able to listen and come up new ideas and to support people to plan and to achieve their goals are all essential parts of the role. 

You will be willing to learn and try new things, through both training and team work. 

You may have experience of the following: Support Worker, Bank Support Worker, Charity, Charities, Third Sector, Care Worker, Learning Disabilities, Community Care, Not for Profit, NFP, Voluntary Sector, Vulnerable People, Care Assistant, Social Worker etc.
