Grant Management and Reporting Officer

Create a world without dementia

Alzheimer's Society is the UK's leading dementia charity. We provide information and support, improve care, fund research, and create lasting change for people affected by dementia.

Position: Grant Management and Reporting Officer
Location: London
Contract type: Permanent
Hours: 35 per week
Salary: £32,326.00 per annum (actual)

Closing date: 21 August 2017
Interview date: 24 August 2017

About the role:

Can you make sure we meet our obligations to funders, and show them the impact of their support for people with dementia? If so, join Alzheimer’s Society as a Grant Management and Reporting Officer.

As part of an ambitious and growing team, you‘ll be working right across the Society’s services, research and external affairs directorates to effectively monitor and report to funders on the impact of our work. From following the progress of pilot projects to reporting on the difference our work is making, no two days will be the same. Information management will also be a key part of your role, working closely with Finance colleagues and budget holders to facilitate restricted asks and track restricted income across the Fundraising directorate.

About you:

You’ll bring a track record in grant management and reporting, and proven ability to draft, review and edit documents. A flair for analysing and presenting financial information clearly and succinctly is important too, as are strong Excel skills and a meticulous eye for detail. A creative problem solver who is comfortable managing competing deadlines, your project management ability is complemented by the excellent relationships you’ll build with colleagues across the Society.

Preferably educated to degree standard or equivalent, ideally you will have experience of impact measurement and reporting and/or have operated in a funder-led environment. You’ll be a true ambassador for those affected by dementia, and excited to join a growing team that’s rapidly becoming central to our fundraising success.

Alzheimer’s Society is committed to equal opportunities.

You may have experience of the following: Grant Management, Grant Reporting, Statutory Fundraising, Third Sector, Charity, Not for Profit, Financial Reporting, etc.
