Position: Peer Support Group Facilitator 
Location: Sefton 
Contract type: Permanent 
Hours: 18 per week 
Salary: £9,906.00 per annum (actual)

About the role: 

Part of a team of 10 staff in Sefton, you will be responsible for facilitating and arranging weekly and monthly social activity groups in a range of safe and secure environments across the borough of Sefton. You will ensure that delivery is always high quality and that it is appropriate for people with dementia, their carers and families. Current groups include Reading, Singing for the Brain and Active & Involved. 

About you: 

You will have excellent communication skills, with experience and knowledge of group work in a social care setting. Must be a motivated self starter with initiative and drive. Knowledge of or experience of Dementia would be an advantage. You must be able to travel independently and have the ability to transport materials and goods needed for the role
