An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Llannon Community Council for an experienced Development Officer. The role will plan, implement, and monitor a range of community, sporting, recreational, cultural and environmental projects and events within the area, and assist in planning the future sustainability of Tumble Hall. 

To facilitate the future sustainability of Tumble Hall which is owned by the Council, including assisting in the day to day management of the facility.

To assist in the management of facilities as obtained by the Council through asset transfer from Carmarthenshire CC including play areas and sporting facilities.

The role will plan, implement, and monitor a range of community focussed activities in the Llannon Community Council area including, but not limited to, youth activities, arts and creativity, physical space management, seasonal events, business start up and support, 3rd sector engagement, sporting, recreational, cultural and environmental projects and events within the area. The work will encompass working in partnership with community stakeholders, and providing support to enable community groups to achieve their objectives. This will include assessing potential for new income streams and also identifying external grants where appropriate.

More specifically, the role will include direct support as required to the Upper Gwendraeth Community and Sports Association and any other community organisations in the area.
