Family Support Programme Lead - Charity
Home-Start is a federated network of local organisations which provide community based support for families and children. Over the past four decades Home-Start has supported over a million children and has become one of the leading family support charities across the UK.
A key part of our new strategic plan is our new Innovation Lab and we are now seeking a Family Support Programme Lead to manage the Innovation Lab work stream.
Family Support Programme Lead
Salary: £40,000 per annum
Location: Based in Leicester or home-based
Hours: 36hrs per week
The successful candidate will be an experienced programme leader with extensive experience of early years and volunteer led support topics. Demonstrable experience including early child development, promoting user involvement and community engagement and safeguarding/child protection knowledge are key to this role.
You will have proven knowledge of programme management methodology and application together with the ability to apply a risk management approach to programme delivery. You will have a track record of implementing and monitoring reporting systems against project deliverables, outcome measures and quality standards.
A commitment to working to improve the lives of children, families and volunteers is also key and will be demonstrated by an ability to communicate with passion and commitment to a range of audiences.
This post can be based at our Home-Start UK office in Leicester or home-based however the post holder will be expected to travel extensively across the UK and regularly attend the Home-Start office in Leicester.
