SAMH has represented the voice of people most affected by mental health issues in Scotland since 1923.

The charity operates 60 services in communities across Scotland providing mental health social care support, homelessness, addictions and employment services among others. These services, together with its national programme work in See Me, respectme, suicide prevention and active living; inform SAMH’s important policy and campaign work to influence positive social change.

SAMH’s fundraising began in earnest in 2011 and the achievements and expansion of the charity has since been phenomenal.

Building on this momentum, SAMH has an ambitious new fundraising strategy and is looking to expand and support its vibrant team.

This is an exciting new role within the fundraising management team. SAMH has huge ambition for Individual Giving fundraising. You will contribute in a variety of ways including:

• Developing and implementing an Individual Giving programme

• Developing and leading on Individual Giving activities

• Exploring and testing new methods for donor recruitment

You will be a creative, strategic thinker with an excellent knowledge and understanding of Individual Giving fundraising. You will have experience of delivering customer care at the highest level and be a self-motivated and innovative team member.
