Corporate Partnerships Fundraiser

SAMH has represented the voice of people most affected by mental health issues in Scotland since 1923.
The charity operates 60 services in communities across Scotland providing mental health social care support, homelessness, addictions and employment services among others. These services, together with its national programme work in See Me, respectme, suicide prevention and active living; inform SAMH’s important policy and campaign work to influence positive social change.
SAMH’s fundraising began in earnest in 2011 and the achievements and expansion of the charity has since been phenomenal.
Building on this momentum, SAMH has an ambitious new fundraising strategy and is looking to expand and support its vibrant team.
This is a new and exciting role that will support the long-term generation and maximisation of SAMH’s corporate fundraising income stream, to meet or exceed targets through the implementation of an ambitious and sustainable corporate engagement strategy. You will contribute in a variety of ways including:
• Account management of a number of small and medium sized corporate partnerships
• Creating and developing new business opportunities for long-term, strategic mutually beneficial corporate partnerships
• Achieving income generation targets in line with the fundraising budget, operational plan and related KPIs
You will possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate with a range of internal and external stakeholders. You will have experience of building successful relationships with companies and of business networking.
