We are seeking a Trainee People Assistant to join our People Services (HR) team.
The People Services Team, based in London and Leeds, provide a comprehensive and professional consultancy and advice service to Citizens Advice managers and staff, which covers, HR transactions and payroll, business partnering services, recruitment and selection, reward and employee relations. We are also committed to delivering our Equality Strategy and the development and maintenance of an inclusive working environment, particularly in respect of equal opportunities, diversity and dignity at work.
Reporting to the People Administration and Payroll Manager, the role will be to assist the People Team processing activities that support the employee lifecycle.
This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who is committed to developing a career in HR by gaining experience and exposure to all HR activities including

We will require applicants to demonstrate that they are highly organised and methodical with good attention to detail with the ability to prioritise and work to tight deadlines.
The successful candidate must be able to manage their own workload effectively with the support of the team and the manager.
Some experience of working in an office environment would be advantageous, however, Citizens Advice will provide all the tools and training necessary to carry out the role.
