Partnerships Manager - With and For Girls
Our client, Stars Foundation, a dynamic London-based foundation that improves the lives of children and their communities globally, is seeking a motivated individual who will oversee fundraising and partnerships for the With and For Girls Collective (WFGC). The Collective is a collaboration of eight funders, convened by Stars, that runs an annual global awards initiative to find and funds locally-led girl-centred organisations working with and for girls. An exceptional fundraiser is needed to build new partnerships to help the Collective achieve its ambitious new strategy to 2020.
The successful candidate will take responsibility for the fundraising and partnerships activities for the WFGC, growing membership and income levels toward ambitious 2020 strategy goals. Working with the WFGC Director, you will identify, cultivate, and secure new partnerships from foundations, corporates, high net worth individuals and grassroots funders, and manage the full reporting schedule for all donors.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in fundraising income generation, with a strong interest in international philanthropy and women and girls' rights. The postholder will be comfortable establishing senior level relationships, making the ask, and working as an ambassador for Stars Foundation and WFGC. You will have experience of working collaboratively within a small and ambitious team, and will have a strong understanding of international fundraising best practice.
Stars Foundation has set aside Friday 8th September 2017 for first round interviews and Thursday 14th September for second round interviews. Stars Foundation is looking for the selected candidate to join as soon as possible.
