With the generosity and involvement of our donors, we have invested over £55 million into more than 11,500 charitable projects across the capital since we started in 1995. Last year alone, we made almost 1,000 grants touching the lives of over 100,000 Londoners.

Director of Finance and Resourcing
The Director of Finance and Resourcing is a pivotal appointment for the Foundation. Working closely with the Chief Executive, you will form part for the senior leadership team, and support the business planning and direction setting for the Foundation. The post holder will play a key role in shaping the organisation, providing a strategic operational lead for finance, IT systems, HR and office management aspects of the organisation and is responsible for ensuring that all activities are financially viable and that operations work actively to support the delivery of organisation strategy.
This role will operate at a strategic level, managing key relationships with internal and external stakeholders whilst also remaining very hands-on in a small team. The post holder will ensure it has the people, resources, systems and processes in place to grow and develop the Foundation's impact.
With a primary focus on ensuring all financial management is effective and given strategic importance in planning, you will take the lead on developing new systems and processes, and will support the organisation in dealing with new developments and activities.
We are looking for a collaborative and strategic finance leader with experience of leading a successful finance function and extensive experience of charity SORP and accounting within the charity sector. A qualified Accountant, you will bring excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities alongside outstanding communication and relationship building skills.
Experience of managing and developing appropriate financial strategies and business planning and implementation will ensure the sustainability and impact of the charity on a long-term basis.
