About the role: 

Our client wants to ensure that Equality, Diversity and Inclusion is at the heart of everything they do and this is an integral part of their values and behaviours. Their new four year EDI strategy has been devised with this in mind. The foundations have been laid and they need someone who has the passion, drive and ability to build on this strategy and really embed diversity and inclusion into every aspect of the client’s work. 

Their ambition is to attract and retain people from as wide a range of backgrounds as possible. You will be expected to deliver transformational change across all areas of the employee lifecycle, enabling practical steps to ensure that their staff profile reflects their student body and their local community. However, the role does not stop there but also covers diversity and inclusion for their students, ensuring that every student has access to the facilities and support they need to be able to succeed to the best of their ability. 

About you: 

You will have an up-to-date knowledge of legislation and best practice in the EDI area, have the ability to provide expert advice and guidance and be able to balance this against the business needs of the organisation.
