The key responsibilities of this Fundraising Project Officer (Community) will be:

  • Utilise community fundraising experience to forward the organisation's aims through transformational fundraising
  • Plan, design and deliver response communications and support community fundraising innovation
  • Work with a variety of church congregations and individuals
  • Work on a number of appeals, campaigns and stewardship programmes to ensure excellent supporter engagement
  • Coordinate projects involving colleagues across a range of teams and locations around the UK
  • Deliver projects on time and on budget to meet various supporter related objectives
  • Work with a wide range of teams collaboratively to deliver multi-channel journeys for individual supporters and supporting churches
  • Post campaign analysis to gain useful insight to implement for future campaigns
  • Manage a variety of projects to recruit and nurture supporting churches and line manage colleagues within these projects
  • Work with a variety of external agencies, ensuring their work is always produced to the highest standard


The person specification for this Fundraising Project Officer (Community) is:

  • Experience of working with church audiences in either a professional or personal capacity
  • An understanding of the nuances of this supporter demographic
  • Demonstrable community fundraising experience and expertise
  • Ability to manage a complex workload across various departments
  • Good knowledge of fundraising databases to draw insight for effective marketing campaigns

Job Offer
