They deliver care for over 3,200 people each year who face a life limiting illness. Only 25% of our costs are supported by the NHS. The rest is provided by charitable income through our fundraising, their shops and from donations. Digital Marketing and Content Producer (Storyteller)

As a charity they know there are fantastic stories across their organisation that show the difference their work makes on a daily basis. These stories need to be told and come from the lovely people they support, their families, their volunteers, their supporters and staff. These are the people that make up their community.

Stories help highlight the real impact of what they do, and they need someone who can gather the best of these stories together for use across their marketing and communications activities including press, campaigns, online, social media and events.

They have ambitious plans to reach more people who need their specialist care by significantly increasing their charitable income in the next 5 years. This role will be an integral part of this hospice's marketing team, not only gathering and writing the stories but also delivering high quality digital communications which engage and inspire the community to support them. Combining knowledge of producing and managing digital communications with a genuine passion for the potential of digital channels, the post holder will use their experience of creating and managing websites, social media and email marketing activities to deliver real impact.

This is a dynamic role, and will require the post holder to travel across the whole of Somerset, work at pace and across a number of teams to help deliver a compelling and impactful marketing and communications across relevant social mediums

The successful applicant will be a talented self-starter with digital communications experience, and a strong understanding of the digital communications landscape.
