The Worker's Education Association (WEA) have been providing adult learning and educational opportunities in the community for over 100 years. As the Management and Governance Officer the successful candidate will be responsible forÂ providing support to regional offices, mainly across London and the South. You will act as the link between all regions, supporting the organisation to achieve their business goals. Day-to-day responsibilities will include working with internal and external stakeholders, attending regular regional management and governance meetings as well as preparing papers and agendas. In addition you will coordinate and prepare reports and statistics for the management team. You will also be responsible for monitoring complaints within the regions, undertaking investigations where necessary.
We are looking for someone from an established PA, Executive Admin or Office Management background with strong analytical skills. This roles requires someone with experience of supporting management teams, along with the ability to build and maintain relationships both internally and externally. Ideally you will have experience of using spreadsheets, as well as prior experience of handling complaints. This role is really suited to someone who has a passion for wanting to work in a community based organisation, who can work to their own initiative and has exceptional organisational skills. You must be educated to degree level or equivalent, including English and Maths Level 2. Knowledge of governance policies and procedures is highly desirable.
