United Response is a leading national charity providing support to young people and adults with learning disabilities and mental health needs. We believe in championing the right of disabled people to live, work, socialise and participate in the community, free of discrimination and unnecessary boundaries. In the Merseyside Area we currently have 9 services: two based in Ellesmere Port and the rest located around Liverpool.
Who we are looking for
We have an opportunity for a Team Manager (s) in our Merseyside area. Reporting to the Service Manager, you will be responsible for the day to day running of several supported living services, getting to know the people we support, what's important to them and discovering the best ways to support them as an individual. You will help to organise and monitor day to day support ensuring that it is delivered efficiently and to the highest possible standard.
What we need from you
To be a great Team Manager, you will have experience of working in social care and ideally have an NVQ3 in Social Care or equivalent. You will know that you need compassion, integrity and to treat people with dignity and respect. You need to be reliable because people are depending on you, be able to travel between locations and work flexibly, including evenings, weekends and overnight as needed. You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills and good IT and numerical skills.
Due to the nature of the role and the Merseyside area covering Ellesmere Port, Liverpool it is essential that you have a drivers licence and access to a car.
