About the Role: The service is a very established model of work which our client has been running very successfully from GP surgeries in Hackney for the last 20 years. Their independent evaluation has highlighted it as a proven effective way of early intervention around mental health. Naturally they are keen to expand on this success to allow other people to benefit. Funded by Wandsworth Clinical Commissioning Group they are currently running a service from 6 GP surgeries in the London Borough of Wandsworth, which covers Battersea, Tooting, Balham, Streatham, Putney and Roehampton
The service has developed and they are now keen to appoint a Senior Practitioner. You will be required to work collaboratively with the manager to develop and refine the service. You will also be required to develop local knowledge to help the team work in a solutions focused way, assess clients and signpost them to other relevant services. Our sessions take place mostly during the day but they are looking to expand these to some evenings and a Saturday morning.
To be considered for this role you will have previous management experience of staff and student placements with a background in counselling, social work, therapy or advice
You will also have a recognized professional qualification suitable to the role which may include: management, social work, health or education.
