The Community and Events Co-ordinator will maximise income generated from events and community activities. They will ensure that fundraising activity is implemented effectively and ensure that targets and income are achieved according to the strategy.


Key responsibilities:

-To be responsible for achieving agreed fundraising targets and the activity needed to achieve them.
-The cultivation and effective stewardship of both existing and new individual supporters, clubs and organisations.
-Working closely with the communications team on marketing collateral and using different forms of media to promote existing and new fundraising activity to maximise participation in community fundraising events

Candidate Requirements:
-Proven experience of raising funds from community and event fundraising
-Developing and managing high quality relationships with prospective and existing community donors and volunteer fundraisers
-Identifying and building relationships with potential donors and groups through a range of engagement channels
-Implementing high quality donor care and stewardship systems and practices
-Using a wide range of donor motivations and mechanisms and creating successful fundraising strategies
-Experience of talking to community groups including schools and clubs
-Enthusiastic individual who understands the role of community fundraising in a small charity
