Allchurches Trust is one of the largest grant-making trusts and the largest private funder to churches and cathedrals in the UK.  We welcome applications from all denominations, for projects of all sizes, particularly in areas of deprivation, from repairing historic churches and bringing them back into full use to inspire and serve the wider community to supporting major heritage projects; last year we gave over £13million to churches, charities, heritage organisations and communities across the country.

We are now looking for a Grants and Relationships Director who will lead in developing the Trust’s grant making strategy and direction to ensure we deliver even greater impact. We are looking for an established senior leader who has experience of leading organisations through change but who, in a small organisation, will also be willing to roll their sleeves up and get on with the job at hand.

As the principal voice of the organisation, strong communication and effective relationship building skills will be essential, as will a proven ability to work with a wide variety of stakeholders and beneficiaries as we seek to raise our profile further. You may be knowledgeable about Church Affairs, or show a willingness to learn, and will evidence a deep understanding of the context the projects we fund operate in.

This is an exciting opportunity to lead the Trust at a pivotal point in our journey.
